Similar to the Home Theater theme above, the Hi Tech Man Cave revolves around a web connected HDTV, a Blu-ray player and a great sound system (if you want to really go the extra mile, you could even drop some early adopter bucks on a 3D ready television). You’ll also need a wi-fi internet connection and a subscription to Netflix (again, so you can stream content right to your TV). The main component that brings this all together (other than the TV itself) is a media server. I’d recommend the newly revamped Apple TV. It’s tinier and more powerful than its predecessor and it lets you stream all kinds of content from the computers on your network, YouTube, and of course the iTunes store.
