We like to caution potential massage recliner buyers to also go with a reputable brand. What type of warranty coverage is provided with the EP 30004? You get 3 years parts coverage and 1 year labor coverage. Panasonic now provides in-home technician service with the Real Pro Ultra series and covers that for 1 year. They also cover shipping expenses during the first year. We like the 1 year in home technician service which is great coverage. We see the labor of 1 year is fairly short compared to other manufacturers. If possible, try to get an extended warranty to get greater coverage. This is especially important on big ticket items like massage chairs with many moving parts.

There are some outstanding new features incorporated into the Real Pro Ultra massage chair series. The EP 30004 has both a lower body stretch and a shoulder stretch. There is also a new massage technique called Junetsu. The Junetsu massage technique literally means ultra fine kneading in Japanese. The Junetsu massage technique uses small circular motions and a one second of thumb-like firm pressure. The effect of this massage is to reverberate through the muscle and penetrating to the surface of the bone.

There are also 5 ways to target certain regions of your back including: neck, shoulder, middle, lower and full back.

You can also create self-programs to target specific regions with particular massage techniques. These are fairly simple to create. For example, you can select the lower back and a deep tissue massage. You then select the time duration and the massage intensity that you desire. You can also save these programs. It will save programs for up to 4 different users. There is also a voice guidance system for those less inclined to read through the user manual to figure these things out.

The lower body is covered with an air compression massage system. This system uses strategically place airbags throughout the massage recliner to target the hands, arms, feet, calves, thighs and buttocks. The massage technique is a squeeze, hold and release compression style. This is very soothing and relieving for the extremities of the body. Additionally, there are stretching capabilities for both the legs and the shoulders. These are great to help increase flexibility by elongating the muscles.

The chair design is fairly industrial looking, which is probably the most disappointing aspect of the massage recliner. The leg rest is extendable out another 5 inches, which is an important feature. The air massage for the hands and arm is concealed underneath the arm rest covers. These arm rest covers open to the side and the hands or arm can be placed inside. This is nice to conceal this apparatus within the armrest and not make it visible.

Overall, the Real Pro Ultra series has some excellent features over its prior series the Real Pro Elite. We like the direction that Panasonic is going with their massage chairs. We would like to see better warranty protection and better design aesthetics. However, the massage therapy is very effective and the chair is fairly well designed. This is definitely a shiatsu massage chair that is worth considering at the high end of the market.

This was my first music festival at sea. I got to hang out at the mid-ship pool with 2000 new friends and watch Alabama perform on three different occasions. I enjoyed the music of bands I had never heard of but will not forget. My girlfriend and I line danced in the atrium, played bingo with Randy Owen and wore our bell-bottoms on the 70’s theme night.

The Pearl left Miami on 10/24/13 for a four-day cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, which is Norwegian’s private island. The spa offered discounts on services while in port. So after a short walk to the straw market in Nassau, I was back on board for a facial and a relaxing afternoon in the thermal suite.

The coed area of the thermal suite included a large mineral pool with lots of bubbles, a smaller hot tub and two shower stalls with color-changing lights. Heated, tile benches were available to relax and take a nap. Lounge chairs faced a large floor to ceiling window that overlooked the bow. The women’s only side had a sauna, a steam room and a cold plunge pool. The spa charged $38 for a one day pass to the thermal suite or $68 for a four-day pass. Since I was in the thermal suite every day, the four-day pass was a real value.

I have been on the Norwegian Pearl before. So whenever I saw someone with a dazed look on their face, I would ask if I could help. It is a great way to make new friends. Our room steward, Eric, made the best monkey I have ever seen out of a blue and white stripped towel. He also kept our small balcony cabin clean and neat. We ate breakfast and lunch at the garden buffet on the pool deck, and had dinner in the Summer Palace at the rear of the ship. I could always find something good to eat. If you don’t like a dish, the waiters are happy to replace it.

Sixthman organized the cruise and did a great job. Before the cruise, they sent me name tags and luggage tags. On the ship they had a representative at the front desk to answer questions. I told her I had left my name tags at home, and she immediately gave me new name tags. While on the ship, we also received Alabama and Friends beach towels, an autographed poster and special Alabama pins. On top of that, everyone got to have their picture taken with Alabama at assigned photo sessions. When I got home, I received an email with a web address where I could download my picture with Alabama. Other pictures from the cruise were also available for free download.

More than half of the people on the ship were over 50 and married. It was a friendly crowd which shared a love for country music and left me with wonderful memories.

With the many styles, materials, themes and types of living room furniture available, you have a wide range of options in decorating to choose from. Below are a few decorating tips when buying and arranging your living room furniture.

· Group things in odd numbers. One sofa, loveseat and chair or one sofa and three chairs. Three candlesticks or one vase with flowers on the mantle. Three or five pillows on the couch.

· Beware of using more than two pairs of anything in a room. Try two matching chairs and one end table between them instead of two matching chairs and two matching end tables.

· Don’t try to use too many styles in one room. It’s okay to be eclectic with a funky art deco table or chair in a country French setting, but don’t also combine a modern living room table or a country leather couch. One or two pieces of a different style works in a mostly consolidated look.

· One piece won’t “make” a room. Make sure you have complementary items that work well with your showpiece.

· Too many chair and table legs in a room aren’t grounded. Include a skirted chair, sofa or base table.

· Use your space well – consider wall space, open window space, fireplace, and flooring. Plan where you want your pieces to go if you’re buying new living room furniture. You don’t want to crowd a room or block windows with furniture.

· Don’t put your back of the couch facing the front door. You want to invite people in, and if people see a sofa back first, that places a barrier to your living space. Have an open area that invites a visitor in, especially when they come in through the front door.

· Accessorize with pillows, candles, vases and lamps. If you have a monotone sofa, loveseat, chairs and tables, brighten them up with pillows, afghans, candles, vases and “coffee table art.” You can even change out the look on a seasonal basis with light and bright colors in the spring and summer, and warm, darker colors in the fall and winter.

· Have furniture custom made. Many furniture stores allow you to choose from a huge selection of fabrics and leathers for seat cushions, pillows and dust cloths. You can even choose the wood finish on bedroom furniture and living room tables and dining room tables and chairs.

· Make it comfortable. Your living room furniture should be welcoming to sit on, put down a drink, or put your feet on if it’s an ottoman or footstool. Too rigid of a decor does not make your guests feel at home.

· Keep throws and afghans under control. If you’re going to have small blankets on your couches, tuck and fold them around the pillows and cushions so they’re a part of the furniture and not just an accent.

Take a good look at your home on a regular basis to see what needs updating or improvement. Be sure to shop at several stores when you are purchasing furniture so that you can see what the new looks are and compare prices.
